Position Available For Lady Lake Tax & Accounting Office – Part-time with full-time potential. Hourly wage commensurate with experience.
Candidate must be able to demonstrate & possess the following:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook – Email & Calendar, Excel & Word)
- Work well with deadlines, multitask, and be detailed oriented
- Ability to retain, learn quickly, prioritize, take directions, and follow office protocol and instruction
- Accurate typing & grammar skills
- Ability to scan, copy, fax, and use calculator
- Possess a pleasant & professional disposition
Job responsibilities include:
- Maintaining daily time sheet (Excel)
- Reception & clerical duties (Answering phones taking messages)
- Logging incoming correspondence and distribute to appropriate staff
- Maintaining & updating client mailing lists, tracking lists, and due date lists
- Managing work flow & deadlines
- Making calls to clients to obtain required information
- Printing envelopes/labels
- Logging outgoing mail, calculating & applying appropriate postage, and delivery to local post office
- Learning Tax & Accounting Software
- Proofreading, collating, & processing clients’ tax returns
- E-filing tax returns
- Filing alphabetically
- Managing supply inventory; ordering supplies, & price checking for best pricing
- Daily trash disposal and light cleaning
